Programming Coordinator...this full-time 40-hour week position plays a key role in crafting dynamic and engaging weekend experiences while supporting various KidsCrossing initiatives for children of all ages. In collaboration with Central Services staff, the Programming Coordinator helps foster a culture of creativity, teamwork, and excellence. This role requires building relationships, encouraging and equipping both paid staff and volunteers, and developing high-quality training resources. The ideal candidate is deeply committed to Jesus Christ, aligned with The Crossing’s vision, and dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow spiritually and take meaningful steps in their faith journey.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Programming Manager to create engaging weekend programming elements, including videos, graphics, ProP slides, Playlister content, and stage elements for weekend services
- Oversee the planning, development, and execution of worship experiences for all age groups, including curating and managing Spotify playlists
- Partner with site staff to efficiently manage the distribution, stewardship, and return of supplies and materials across all campus locations
- Collaborate with the Family Engagement Lead on specific Crossing-wide or KidsCrossing initiatives whose scope is beyond weekend services
- Develop and share high-quality training videos to equip weekend volunteers with the tools to effectively lead large and small group activities
- Collaborate with the Central Team in the supervision and guidance of the weekday prep team, ensuring preparations are completed for the weekend
- Regularly observe weekend services for the purpose of understanding how programming is playing out at different sites and room environments
- Maintain open and consistent communication with the Programming Manager, sharing both successes and challenges to continuously refine and improve weekend programming
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years experience preferred
- Prior experience working in children’s ministry, as staff or volunteer a plus
- Knowledge of child development preferred
- Experience leading volunteers preferred
- Spiritual Gifs including: Creative Communication, Wisdom, Encouragement and Helps
- Spiritual Maturity
