Communication Team Summer Intern...is a full-time summer position that provides administrative support to the Communications Team, which interfaces with all ministries of the church. A person that will flourish in this role is highly administrative, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks at once, shows initiative, solves problems creatively and has interpersonal communication skills. This position also provides opportunities for spiritual and personal growth as part of the summer internship. The summer internship runs from May 28, 2024 through August 2, 2024.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrative support for Communications Director, including managing calendar and meetings
- Schedule meetings, book rooms, and maintain calendars
- Coordinate tasks, notes, and project assignments for Communications Team
- Assist in church-wide calendar management
- Provide administrative support for staff meetings
- Project support for larger church initiatives
- Order assets from vendors for special projects and events
- Run point on special projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned by leadership

- High school graduate

- Highly organized, able to handle multiple projects at once, keen attention to detail
- A master of time management

- Ability to solve problems and provide creative solutions

- Teachable, humble, team player, good sense of humor, mature
- Prompt, reliable, good work ethic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word with moderate knowledge of Excel and Outlook calendars

- Attend a service at one of The Crossing campuses on a weekly basis
- Passionate about their relationship with God
- Baptized after making the thoughtful decision to follow Christ
- Regard the Bible as God’s final authority in all areas of Christian life and desire to be wholly obedient to it
- Wholeheartedly affirm The Crossing’s Statement of Faith, including our view on Baptism
- Live a lifestyle consistent with scriptural principles
