Our church... is a non-denominational multi-site church with four St. Louis-area campuses where we gather each weekend to study this ancient story found in Scripture that is still transforming lives today. We believe church should be a place where believers in Jesus and skeptics can stand side-by-side to study truth and ask tough questions. We blend teaching and worship with art and technology to create a service where you can experience the message of Jesus in practical and life-changing ways.

Kids Crossing Coordinator...is a part-time 28 hour a week role responsible for equipping and empowering team leaders and team members with the goal of developing a volunteer-led ministry. This position calls for a highly relational and adaptable person who will foster a high quality, fun, safe, and relational environment in the weekend experiences in Kids Crossing. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for Jesus Christ, the vision of The Crossing and for building authentic faith in children that lasts a lifetime. The position will include weekend and weekday hours.


  • Identify and develop key leaders to care for ministry teams
  • Actively work to staff the weekend volunteer schedule
  • Schedule, train, and equip team members
  • Empower serving teams to recruit new team members
  • Meet with key leaders on a regular basis to encourage, equip and disciple them
  • Manage team members by providing feedback and resources for growth
  • Communicate to team members vision, schedule and curriculum weekly
  • Ensure that rooms, stages and materials are set appropriately for the weekend
  • Oversee the large group programming, which includes preparing basic tech needs, running rehearsals on the weekend, providing appropriate feedback to the programming team
  • Fill in on the weekend as needed
  • Train and empower Small Group Leaders to be the first point of contact with parents to connect church and home
  • Communicate with parents regarding behavior issues, incidents/accidents and follow up during the week when necessary
  • Model an environment that communicates encouragement and praises to parents regarding their kids

  • Experience working in children's ministry, as staff or volunteer

  • Baptized after making the thoughtful decision to follow Christ
  • Regard the Bible as God’s final authority in all areas of Christian life and desire to be wholly obedient to it
