Music Intern...this 1 year full-time internshijp position and is for individuals who are seeking a path of further development in their ministry careers and to explore whether full-time ministry is a personal calling. Throughout the program interns will develop their leadership capacity, skills, talents, emotional health, and spiritual maturity. Interns will also be connected with seasoned mentors to further grow personally and professionally.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grow in applied ministry skills and experience by leading weekend worship and assisting with other music/worship needs throughout the year
  • Increase ability to lead others by learning how to music direct weekends and events
  • Develop skills and gain holistic ministry experience by attending relevant weekly creative and production meetings
  • Grow in knowledge in production by shadowing and participating in production/broadcast opportunities
  • Take on additional leadership responsibilities as assigned

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
  • Applicable experience in your ministry track of choice
  • Relevant volunteer/serving experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to relocate to St Louis for the duration of the residency

  • Attend a service on a weekly basis
  • Be passionate about The Crossing and a relationship with God
  • Baptized as a follower of Christ
  • Complete all Vision Venues within the first 3 months of employment
  • Regard the Bible as God’s final authority in all areas of Christian life and desire to be wholly obedient to it
  • Wholeheartedly affirm The Crossing’s Statement of Faith, including our view on baptism
